FAQ

Common Queries

Find answers to frequently asked questions about our pottery, ordering process, and care instructions.
Do I need experience to join a course?

Not at all! Our Intro to Clay course is perfect for beginners. We also offer wheel throwing and more advanced sessions for those with experience.

How do I become a member?

To become a member, you’ll need to have completed a course with us (or elsewhere) and feel confident working independently in the studio.

What’s the best course for me?

If you’re completely new to clay, our Intro to Clay course is the best place to start — it covers hand-building, surface decoration, wheel-throwing and glazing. If you’re keen to get straight on the wheel, try Beginners Wheel Throwing. We recommend Improvers Wheel Throwing if you already have some experience and are confident throwing cylinders and basic shapes.
