At Studio Agni, we are committed to practising sustainability in all aspects of our ceramics studio, workshops, and creative work. We believe in responsible use of resources, minimising waste, and supporting environmental awareness in our community.
1. Materials & Resources
-
We primarily use local clay in our studio, reducing transportation impact and supporting local suppliers.
-
Whenever possible, we repurpose reclaimed packaging from other deliveries to reduce waste.
-
Waste materials from workshops are reused or recycled wherever feasible.
2. Energy & Firing Practices
-
We aim to reduce energy consumption in our kilns and studio equipment.
-
Wood firing and other processes are carried out thoughtfully, with attention to minimizing environmental impact.
3. Packaging & Shipping
-
Packaging for sales and deliveries is minimal, reclaimed, or recyclable wherever possible.
-
We encourage customers to consider eco-friendly shipping options when available.
4. Education & Community
-
Our workshops promote awareness of sustainable practices in ceramics, including efficient use of materials and conscious making.
-
We aim to inspire our community to consider environmental impact in creative practices.
5. Continuous Improvement
-
Sustainability is an ongoing journey. We regularly review our processes to find ways to reduce waste, conserve resources, and improve our environmental impact.
